Pros
Overall good environment, solid brandname, career opportunities arise but you have to be very patient and sometimes lucky. Overall execution capabilities of the bank are pretty good in a very broad range of services and you can rely on them, which is key when you are a client facing professional.
Cons
Internal politics rule and upper management acts accordingly. That gives sometimes the feeling of lack of strategy. Contrary to most comments, pay is not subpar, it is just extremely unevenly distributed with most employees earning below market and and one fifth of the workforce being well remunerated.
