A lot of marketing goes into BNP's HR strategy in Portugal

- Homework policy is fair - Benefits are good - Health benefits are also in line with market - URBO office is enjoyable - Considering the average Portuguese company experience, it has a just hiring process. - In general, working hours are respected

Cons

- Salary policy is a mess and pay is low across the board (in many instances, there's lots of new joiners earning more than people with years at BNP, for the same position) - Low involvement of teams and people in decision making - Management makes a lot of inconsistent/conflicting decisions - Career progression is basically non-existent for Operations related positions - Turnover rate is enormous. You're constantly seeing people come and go.

Everything, sexist, racist, poor treatment, HR don't care when it's reported and try to shut you up. No career progression unless you are a white male or a favoured person.

nice people to work with, internal mobility, decent work/life balance, flexible work from home some days, decent bonuses, opportunities to connect with people around the world

Cons

Not high pay for the industry, management makes bold decisions to move your job or offshore your job often, very focused on cost cutting, will tell you that you have a bright future and with no warning will cut your job, you never know when your job will be cut or moved, lots of people constantly turning over
