      Pros

      great people and not bad of a salary great experience for first year

      Cons

      Still some growing pains as acquisitions are incorporated into business Need to work on improving recruiting effort and brand given the current size of firm

      Pros

      Very talented people, I made lots of personal friends within the Bain system globally. Thoughtful global and local training programs, truly dedicated to people development, meritocracy culture, very fluid organization allowing transfer to worldwide offices, externship programs allowing employees to pursue their passion/interest outside of Bain.

      Cons

      As to many consulting jobs, tough to maintain work life balance, in some offices, extensive traveling limits control in how/when you would spend your time during the work week.

      Pros

      If consulting is what you want to do, Bain is a great place to do it. Generally meritocratic and well run.

      Cons

      It's consulting - you're serving clients and they may not be companies or industries in which you have any interest.
