Massive investor in people - continuous training and feedback Focus on what matters - great discipline in how to work for maximum impact, minimises wasted effort or time Supportive culture - Bainees take time and effort to make sure people on their team are learning and are set up to succeed Culture values work-life balance - while you do sometimes work long hours, everyone on the team of all levels takes care to control hours and effort is acknowledged and thanked Fun! Great network - multiple Bain wide events and training means I have friends & drinking buddies around the world

Working at Bain gives you the opportunity to deal with extraordinarily challenging strategy, operations, and leadership issues in an environment that is all about impact. Bain gives you tremendous learning opportunities and the chance to make a big difference wit the clients you serve. The culture is just outstanding and is Bain's real secret sauce. You could do similar work at BCG or McKinsey but the people at Bain are far more passionate, committed, and inter-personally engaging. The partners at Bain are people you want to emulate (not always so true in this industry). And making the company the best place to work in the consulting industry is a personal passion for them. Bain is an incredible place to work.

Cons

The lifestyle is intense. It's not for those looking for the 55MPH lane. The culture is incredibly supportive but you will have a lot of days in which your ego takes a bruising as you go through the inevitable growing pains required in the job.
