      Pros

      People - Quality of co-workers is unmatched elsewhere Problems - the day to day work of helping clients with their most difficult strategic and operational problems is fascinating. I love to go to work.

      Cons

      There will not be the opportunities that exist in the corporate world to receive a windfall salary (more than $10M in a year) via senior executive comp, options grants, buyouts.

      Bain has an "up or out culture," just like McKinsey - even if they claim not to have one. In a tough economy, this is more pronounced.
