      Pros

      Bain provides an incredible learning experience. At Bain, I have worked side-by-side notable senior executives and helped them solve their most critical business problems - across marketing, operations, finance and organization. As a result, I have amassed an invaluable skill-set that will help me be successful at or long after Bain. I also know I am supported at Bain - a Bainie never lets another Bainie fail. The people are special - incredibly smart, but supportive, down-to-earth and fun.

      Cons

      As is the case with any consulting firm, we work extremely hard at Bain and the hours can be long. While face time is not important and Bain prioritizes solutions to improve work/life balance, the job can be demanding (which makes it all the more rewarding).

      Results driven organization, heavy focus on merit, challenging work, GREAT people, ability to have an impact early in your career and beginning meeting senior people at clients

      Cons

      Clients served are getting progressively larger so the work is not as interesting because it is all big company projects where things move more slowly and it is harder to get things done; being an advisor without the ability to implement
