Pros

* People Experience staff is always eager to know how you are, how the customer is treating you, whether you have everything needed to do your job

Cons

* Compensation isn't bad for LatAm standards, but lower than what I'd earn if I lived in the US, where the company is based

Pros

-Exceptional Colleagues and Analysts: I must highlight that the people I had the pleasure of working with, including colleagues and analysts, and several managers were truly remarkable. They exhibited a friendly, helpful, and positive attitude that made the work environment more enjoyable. -Opportunities for Skill Development: BairesDev provided an environment where the work volume was consistently high. While this could be challenging, it also presented valuable opportunities for skill development. I learned how to work effectively under pressure and honed my time management skills during my time here.

Cons

Overworked Talent Acquisition Department: It was evident that the Talent Acquisition department was consistently overworked. The workload often felt overwhelming, which impacted the team's efficiency and job satisfaction. Workers are only valued when they resign. Communication Gaps: There seemed to be a disconnect in communication between middle and top management. This lack of effective communication hindered collaboration and decision-making processes. Middle Management seems to be against their teams and scared of top management. Disparity in Benefits: It appeared that there was a disparity in benefits, creating a distinction between employees. Some individuals had access to better benefits than others, which seemed unfair and affected overall morale. Vacation days, possibility to earn in dollars, etc. Also, the promoted benefits are not always accesible. Lack of Transparency: Transparency was often lacking in areas such as salary structures, dismissals, and process improvement plans. This made it challenging for employees to understand the company's direction and their own career prospects. Manipulative Management: I observed instances where managers used manipulative techniques to encourage employees to overwork. While there was talk of schedule flexibility and ownership, in practice, expressing disagreement often led to unfavorable consequences. Never did I work an 8h shift, probably never less than 12h. HR plays little to no role when this issues are reported.
