challenging work. people you worked with were hard working.

Cons

there was poor time managment on projects. post-9/11, business never really picked up except for the public sector. communication from senior mgmt was not clear.

Predominantly Federal Government contracts - which means that employees enjoy greater stability and work / life balance and minimal travel (if residing in the Washington DC metro area).

Cons

Predominantly Federal Government and small sized contracts - which means that profitability of the firm is low. As a result, the ability of the firm to raise compensation is very limited.

BearingPoint was a good company to work for to gain consulting experience. It also looked very good on a resume.

Cons

As with any large company, it depended on where within the company you worked. At BearingPoint, I worked for a great group, but have very limited room for growth/advancement.
