Pros

If you like to travel here you get plenty, if you are lucky you can work on interesting projects, possibility of getting certifications and develop your career.

Cons

The "Consultant" title is overused for all roles and all levels and sometimes this change people own perception, acting selfish and rude. Management rarely listens to employees' opinion, even after understanding and discussing the arguments. Undervalued employees usually have a higher priority when promoting.

Pros

quite varied projects, colleagues generally friendly and ambitious, management accessible, depending on manager and partner you get great projects and teams and a good consulting experience so make sure to get along very well with them before you start.

Cons

projects often very operational, you feel more like a temp at the client than a consultant. Career prospects vary widely with partner and manager (no consistency). Pay is below average and bonus calculation can be opaque. Managers often busy advancing their own career and using consultants to make that happen which impairs your own career.
