BearingPoint is famous accounting based consulting company. The company has various job to be assigned. We have many opportunities to work.

Cons

BearingPoint is close to be merged. Once merged, I think we may lose our good position to work. Current good team may break...

Predominantly Federal Government contracts - which means that employees enjoy greater stability and work / life balance and minimal travel (if residing in the Washington DC metro area).

Cons

Predominantly Federal Government and small sized contracts - which means that profitability of the firm is low. As a result, the ability of the firm to raise compensation is very limited.

Pros

Well, while the firm existed, they had a fairly good go-to-market strategy and were successful at winning work. They will be missed.

Cons

The firm was constantly having financial difficulities, which made bonus pay non-existent. They also had unstructured compensation bands and easy promotional policies. So, unqualified people had inflated job titles
