Pros

Good mentoring and performance management system, so long as you have a decent PM. Good oppurtunities for advancement, so long as your practice area is growing. Public services was doing well at the time of the acquisition to Deloitee.

Cons

Salary is lower than average, especially for those with a clearance. The aquisition by Deloitee may change this a bit. Senior Management is largely focuse on BD efforts and often leaves junior consultants in over their head with clients.

Pros

Was a great place to learn and grow. Was a meritocracy for being given as much responsibility as you could handle

Cons

Inept management caused the ruin of the company. Many smart and talented people have had to suffer because of that. Fortunately I am going over to PwC, so will have a better perspective after working for another firm in same economic environment
