Pros

nice people that were concerned with doing a good job, but watched their own back- it was also difficult to see the end result

Cons

was kind of difficult to know the firm's direction because it was always shifting - the opportuity to make a lot of money went away

Pros

Good place to start your career or enhance your skill set; generally a young, progressive work culture; reasonable work-life balance

Cons

Hard to move off of a project or account; difficult to get promoted -- VERY subjective at the discretion of the manager; virtually no raises or bonuses

Pros

Like all consulting firms, BearingPoint offered fantastic experience to interact with many different clients. I worked for 15-20 Fortune 500 clients during my 4 years at BearingPoint.

Cons

BearingPoint unfortunately struggled with poor management communication as it worked through multiple CEOs, internal reorgs, etc. At times you worked very long hours and were under high stress conditions. The nonstop travel definitely got a little tedious at times.
