Pros

I truthfully owe much to BearingPoint, INC. They helped me grow so that I will be better prepared when I move on. The people are what make BearingPoint, because there are some days where it can be plain miserable, but the people help you through that.

Cons

The pay isn't as great as it could be, but you have to start somewhere. Also, BE does not expense anything, it's a little disappointing traveling further than you expected and BE being very inconsistent about pay, but want you to squander money by travelling. But once again--you're starting somewhere.

Pros

The people are what make the company successful. Management supports training and education. Additionally, they truly want you to reach your personal goals and will do anything within their power to help you achieve them. My peers and superiors are truly concerned with my success. We work and succeed as a team. I am proud to call myself a BearingPoint employee. From day one I have felt like I was part of the team. GO BE!!

Cons

The chapter 11 is a little unsettling, but the CEO and CFO have done a great job communicating the status of the filing and goals of the company.

Pros

I have found that the people here are the company's best assets. They are highly skilled and very bright. We bid and win fantastic projects with fantastic clients who love our work. The alliances the company has made for training programs are a great way to gain solid consulting experience. The company is huge on forward motion in your career track so if you work hard and meet your goals, promotions can and should be expected.

Cons

Its reputation makes it difficult for people to understand why good consultants would stick around
