Pros

The organization has tremendous spirit and espirit de corps among top performers. They set the bar high, then try to bring along all teammates in the spirit of team victory over business challenges. Even in their toughest trials, such as they experience now, they continue to deliver acclaimed customer service to customers with an eye to avoiding the panics associated with buy outs and cannibalization. They understand people are the key to the team, and they take especially good care of their teammates. I am consistently inspired by the open, honest talk and feedback, the focus on improvement, and the willingness of senior leaders within the company to listen to concerns from the field and act upon them for the good of the larger team. BearingPoint as a name may fade, but the tradition of excellence their people have come to be known for will shine brightly for their future customers and employers.

Cons

There is only one- the dissolution of the organization and cannibalization to other major professional service consulting firms means we all need to start over in a new organization. Uncertainty for what it will take to continue on the career path will most likely pass, but for now, that is the only unfortunate turn to date.

Pros

Opportunities for career growth and personal development is available at BearingPoint company. The work experience is particularly fulfiling specifically because one is exposed to a variety of assignments none which is similar. This exposure is helpful career wise and adds richness in ones personal skills in the consulting fild. I have particularly enjoyed different types of assignments ranging from medium to lart organizations.

Cons

Sometimes, promotion may depend on the visibility with the management or how close one may be with his MD. I noted earlier on in my employment employees who were close to their MDs got promoted much faster than those without feasibilities with their MD even though ones evaluation could be higher. I was particularly disatified with the fact that I did not receive a raise for quite a while even though my utilization was average.
