Pros

It pays well compared to other jobs that I have had in the past. I am able to work from home which is nice. the only thing is that you don't get to see many people when you are at home.

Cons

there is nothing that is consistant here. things literally change on a daily basis. reporting does not come out at the same time each month which makes forecasting financials for the year hard. It seems like people work 24 / 7. no one is really ever " on vacation ". People love to call you late at night when you are with your family.

Pros

People. Everybody helps everyone and you can succeed w/o tearing down your peers. Leaders professional and respectful. I think the promotions within my group have been managed very fairly. Usually no problem adjusting your schedule for appointments, etc. The amount of vacation also is a plus.

Cons

Public services likely to be purchased by Deloitte Consulting becasue of the Chapter 11. Uncertainity where we stand. Bonuses have been very low due to the long-term debt problem. Government contracts are stable work but the are difficult to manage. The margins are low compared to private sector. Master's degreee is no value to the company.
