Pros

Per Diem is a huge plus when traveling, especially since it's tax free. It compensates for a lot of the downsides.

Cons

Management can be somewhat unorganized, many managers just want to make themeselves look good at the cost of those working underneath them. For example, if you work over 40 hours and the client does not allow you to bill over 40 and you are working 50-60, the managers don't want you to bill your extra hours because their profitability margins will decrease.

Pros

Great young team with a solid leadership and wide variety of projects if operating in a cross-industry practice. You will learn things fast due to sink or swim methodology. The leadership has a good head in trying to expand their business in the market place and in attempting to align documents together to make solutions quicker and easier to offer. Great opportunities to work overseas in Europe or Asia.

Cons

Long hours, lower compensation than other companies, low initial training, public company, tight expense policy. If senior management believes in one technology, it will be hard to break outside the mold and learn more. Training is also somewhat limited as are our ability to draw/borrow resources from other teams within the company.
