A long strange trip

Pros

Great co-workers, ability to work remotely, individual teams worked very well together and were a tight knit group. Company meetings were always interesting events.

Cons

Poor upper management team, dishonesty in the information they communicated to the employees regarding the state of the business. Repeatedly told everyone that we were not going to go bankrupt or be sold, when in fact, they were planning to bankrupt the company.

Pros

Very fair compensation--it was really how well you played the salary negotations. You could easily have a strong work-life balance here.

Cons

Very disorganized company. Several tools and methodologies were inconsistent. No valuable training provided aside from an orientation titled "BearingPoint Beginnings", which was general business tactics on being presentable, making a good impression, and how contracting operates.
