Pros

Having worked at two other consulting firms, I feel like BearingPoint does care about staff. In the U.S., bonuses have been paid for all staff even with last year being a difficult year. The senior leaders voluntarily took 20% pay cuts in Q4 to keep bonuses for junior staff, which is not something I've seen a lot of. Training is really good, with the firm sponsoring an Oxford MBA program and classes at Yale. The leaders across the entire organization are very accessible.

Cons

Like a lot of consulting firms, the economy is tough right now. The good part is there are a number of long term projects, but there have also been people on the bench awhile.

Pros

The pros are difficult to share as the core ethics was broken by the management.

Cons

When company lay off without giving a warning the courtesy. Ideally the performance improvement plan and proper feedback should be shared. Without that one fine day send an email of termination and denying the service/experience letter is the culture you see here. Stay away for joining.
