Pros

- Good working culture, friendly, inclusive, entrepreneurial and supportive with 'sleeves rolled up' attitude to problem solving - Values held high - those that don't demonstrate values do not last long (e.g. big egos or difficult to work with) - Always enjoyed freedom and flexibility to pursue areas of interest and make things happen internally - Great balance between large firm and boutique based - big firm work (big brands, travel opps etc.) but with a small firm feel (esp. in London) - loads of scope to build/grow - Opportunity to work on very interesting emerging tech, broad business topics or topical public sector issues, I've been able to work on a host of interesting projects - Good support network and growth for career development, have always been stretched and challenged - great learning opps with Oxford / Yale programmes

Cons

- London is a growing practice so doesn't have the full breadth of industries or service lines the whole firm covers - Due to this sometimes a misalignment occurs where someone with a specific interest is staffed outside of that are which can cause frustration for non-generalists as we don't have the luxury of being able to have a big bench - Firm is European centric and London/UK is a smaller office internally - so isn't always driving the agenda on firmwide topics

Thanks you for your feedback and positive comments. We are always striving to make improvements across all aspects of our business and we appreciate your feedback. Addressing your point on promotion and career advancement, we have a very transparent Development Management programme focused on helping all our people to reach their potential. The programme includes feedback meetings every 8 weeks with the Development and Engagement Manager and career development is proactively discussed at these meetings. Where an individual isn’t ready for promotion, support and clear guidelines on what needs to be done to be promoted are provided to help the individual to achieve their goals. Regarding salary, it is absolutely in our interests to ensure our salary and benefits are at market as this impacts our ability to hire and retain our people. That’s why we benchmark our salaries annually against consulting best practice so that we know our salaries and benefits are at market. We encourage anyone who feels their salary is out of kilter with their role/responsibilities to speak with their Service Line Lead, DM or HR to review the situation. Thanks again for your feedback.
