Pros

The work environment is mostly relaxed but can get busy during some days. Generally light work, most of the hours were spent just standing around and looking for customers to help.

Cons

One area where Best Buy falls short is in compensation. The pay for employees is generally lower than industry standards, which can be a source of frustration. Additionally, there is limited room for growth within the company, which can lead to employees feeling stuck in their current positions. This is just a generic retail job, no different than working at McDonalds. I started at minimum wage, and my coworkers who have been here for years never got a pay bump. Another point to consider is that Best Buy does not offer commission-based sales anymore, yet the company constantly pressures you to sell product warranties.
