Pros

Flexible Schedule, Chances to interact with lots of people if thats what you are into. There are many opportunities to grow. Also Best Buy is one of the few companies that are still doing okay financially. Leadership expectations are set very high. so if you grow into one of the leadership positions and succeed, you learn very valuable leadership skills.

Cons

Favoritism from some managers. You MUST network to move your way up. Not everything is performance based. Customers get crazy every now and then

Pros

There is so much opportunity to move up within the company. I think that the people that work within Best Buy are very nice and supportive. I also think that the company makes it worth your while to work for the company, they give you so many benefits for working there.

Cons

I think one of the downsides with working for Best Buy is that some of the managers don't know how hard the job is some times. They make such hard goals for the area in which I work, even though I'm working hard every day.

Pros

Well to be really honest. 1. You will love the people you work with they arre very friendly and helpful when it is needed 2. Management. Some people in management are awesome when you need to answer any questions that you have if you are confused about what you should do or not do and barely have to Call Human Resources for anythin 3. Promotions are always good to get when you work hard and show why you are the best so the advice i would like to give is if you want to move up listen to the management that are already implace such as your senior, supervisor etc and they will help you if you want to move up in the company

Cons

The only downside of working at best buy is to have extreme pateince when dealing with customers. Some of them can be really annoying and others are just flat out rude always listen to the customer and make sure your are poite because in the end you are the expert and not them you know what product is good for them. Also Managers like always can be annoying and also sometimes can just leave you high and dry but you have to be the storng one against them and go to them and let them know that you need help. even if they are busy make them listen because they are not only there for the customer but they are there for you too.
