Pros

Free chips and soda, if you work long hours and work for 1.5 persons man hours, you will get 10k bonus

Cons

They make you work 10 to 12 hours and pay only 8 hrs for consultants, crappy architecture, any one line of java code you change, you are using free jetty and it takes 30 minutes to builds the project. Why can;t they use websphere/RAD, which picks up hot deploymenyt automatically I wonder if the great mayor knows about this bad practises. Somebody should take action No balance between work life and personal life

Pros

Free medical/dental and free food (snacks and drinks). some of the smartest people you'll meet. that's about it. If you have another offer, take it!

Cons

1) no flexible time. 2) very long hours (9-6 manditory...though they won't admit it). take lunch or don't, you must be there for 9 hrs at least. and that's a short day. 3) project management is a joke. 4) proprietary technology and outdated. 5) forget finding another job. yuo'll forget what you know in about 3 months and won't be able to put anything on your resume. 6) they like to hire fresh graduates so they can mold them to their culture.

Pros

People are fun, Pay is decent for a graduate role, Pantry is the best

Cons

1) Helpdesk There are different layers to this, the first being this is a helpdesk job. Its fine if you are just doing helpdesk, but doing well in helpdesk doesnt even guarantee you high raises - you still have to do a lot of side projects and DEI activities (which I may argue is more important than doing your actual job well) While the primary goal is to prepare you for sales, it is simply not guaranteed and this lead me to point 2) Political 2) Political The office is not big (suprisingly) and it doesn’t actually matter how well you do in your job- as long as they like you, you will go to wherever you want. It is NOT merit based no matter how you look at it. Not a con if you can play the game, but if you just want to do your work well and not be political, sadly it will not be rewarded 3) Bonuses Youre looking at base salary and thinking that they pay well, but in actual fact bonuses are so low that when you take total compensation, it doesnt even amount to much (compared with other competitors)
