Pros

Insurance, pantry, high salary for a call center but it’s a very low salary for a nyc corporte job

Cons

College students, recent graduates BEWARE. Think bigger and think long term. Their starting salary might look decent but with this job, all you’ll ever be is a call center representative. Barely any salary increase or career progression. No one with a college degree should do this job. Two things you must be aware: 1) You’ll know what it’s like to be at the bottom of the food chain, you’ll get calls from everyone who call in Bloomberg hotline; this includes not just Bloomberg customers but also employees and Bloomberg vendors. Most of them won’t even treat you with respect, you’re lucky if they treat you like a human. It sucks especially when verbal abuse comes from other Bloomberg employees. 2) You won’t make it to the Sales team and even if you did, it will take 5+ years. Pathing out is extremely difficult as the team is always shortstaffed. If you browse job boards you’ll notice BCS team is always looking for a new joiner. This is how much short staffed this team is. If I could take back time then I would never have accepted this offer.

Pros

The organisation offers remarkable opportunities for growth, learning and collaboration. I was able to travel regularly and work in settings that brought me into contact with senior figures and global leaders, which was both motivating and professionally rewarding. The culture is supportive and inclusive, with colleagues who are generous with their time and expertise. It is an environment that encourages you to stretch yourself and make the most of the resources available.

Cons

The organisation can believe its own hype a little too much at times, which occasionally affects decision making and communication.
