- 3 days in office hybrid - People are generally nice to work with - Good compensation - Company is pushing towards unified CI/CD pipeline (in C++ and in Python). Most of the teams are already on it, and standartisation is ongoing - The company is in stable financial position and as a private company, doubtful there'd be mass layoffs at any point. - The profits are mostly redestributed to charities - Company encourages volunteering - Good career opportunities - company encourages going into leadership, but also expanding horizontally (upskilling, improving impact as IC) - Good learning opportunities - frequent courses done by Bloomberg and external teachers - Is expanding self-serve DB / Message queuing / Redis etc. capabilities - no need to get through much red tape if you need to set something up quickly
Cons
- 3 days in office hybrid - A lot of legacy code depending on the team - Depending on the team, no client communication - 9 to 6 workday - Most of engineering are on on call rotation
