Pros

They have awesome benefits, an in house clinic, free food, amazing healthcare, and much more! Each year they through a great summer party and really encourage employees to continue learning and have many available trainings for them.

Cons

They are very big brother and it can get a little difficult to work like that. Every department is different so read these reviews carefully!

Pros

-Innovative; an original fin-tech company before it was an official category -Benefits; education reimbursements (historically) generous and healthcare coverage outstanding -Meritocracy; over the long haul, talented individuals will be rewarded for performance -Work/Life balance is very favorable

Cons

-Very flat structure that often leaves little room to advance one's career, if someone is trying to advance as an internal hire; senior managers are generally outside hires. -Businesses are very silo'd, making it difficult to transition across groups easily -Although a fin-tech company; comp is generally below banking and below tech, yet still better than broader corporate

Pros

Competitive salary, one of the best benefits, high 401k matching, health insurance, in-house health center, snacks from pantries, seasonal treats, free soup, smart and nice coworkers, flat hierarchy within the team -- all team members work closely together. One of the most stable jobs you can find to afford your family. Company subsidized team dinner/lunches. Provides dinner at the office if you stay until 8pm. Some groups are using more open source technologies which wasn't the case in the past. Great work-life balance. High internal mobility.

Cons

Not much vision for career advancement other than the raise and compensation. Upper management is pretty much not moving at all. Can notice a lot of politics in the upper management. Very corporate. Very financy atmosphere -- feels uptight overall, so R&D makes an extra effort to make it chill. For the engineers who are actually interested in finance (which isn't the case for many people.. but for these special kind), this is THE place to work at.. otherwise.. just not so much motivating or fun.
