Working with antiquated technology all the while being micro-managed. You will have very little freedom to make improvements

Pros

Good benefits for family, they take care of you if you are loyal to them. Big company therefore opportunities to move around also. I was there for nearly 9 years and was able to create multiple roles for myself as a software engineer. Great place to learn about technology and business.

Cons

It does get somewhat "Dilbertesque" being a large company. But I think that is to be expected from 99+ percent of companies that have more than say 1000 employees.
