Amazing culture, great managers & work-life integration
Pros
- Amazing culture: friendly, open-minded, learner mindset (experiments/errors are accepted and part of the process), respectful, helpful, they walk the talk, it's not just words, you see the behaviours matching as well, - Great managers: supportive and not micro-managing, they recognise teams and individuals, protect them when needed, model healthy behaviours encouraging work-life balanced/ integration, are flexible and relaxed (not transmitting stress to the teams) and act fast when support/a change is needed. - Relaxed onboarding for 3 months, step by step, funnel approach, feeling very welcomed and integrated into the teams from day 1. - Start-up mindset in a big corporation, we start and adjust instead of waiting for things to be perfectly clear / mapped to start.
Cons
- Don't expect that everything will be crystal clear when joining (how we are organized, who works on what, etc), it takes time! The good news is you can start working without figuring everything out first. - Don't expect that everything is perfectly organised (documentation, ways of working, etc), which gives a certain freedom in how to do things (instead of following a rigid protocole) and there are plenty of opportunities to improve certain processes.
