Food used to be good. Decent compensation for Amsterdam, Good office location, 29 days personal time off.
Cons
Politics - by far it's the place I've ever been. Managers promote people from their own countries. Due to this a lot of mangers and senior developers very weak technically, some do not even basic computer science concepts. Retaliation - In general there are very few opportunities for employees to give feedback about their managers and if you give anything-ve, your manager will hunt you down and make sure that you suffer. Some people even got PIP for giving a criticizing feedback. Engineering culture - no proper design reviews or code reviews or testing.. Performance management- show ponies are promoted and work horses are neglected.
