      A swamp - you will drown

      Pros

      Amazing work life balance - you can practically avoid work for months, nobody cares anyway Decent benefits for Amsterdam

      Cons

      The product - backed up by 25 year old perl monolith nobody understands and change. You won't be able either. Career perspectives - the only way is go management, you will not grow technically here. Culture - as they cannot deliver results, they like to talk about them. Be prepared for an endless flow of meetings showing off nothing and talking about plans that will never be completed. High churn - people were either working for 10+ years (too comfortable to leave already) or less than 2 (still tied to a contract)

      Good place for work-life balance; bad if you are looking for latest tech in engineering

      - Great work-life balance - Definitely a great location to work - As an employee, you rights are protected by Works Council (WoCo) - Diverse expat community to work with - Good food

      Cons

      - Lot of legacy code - Flat structure within team discourages good quality among deliverables - Not the best of engineering talent
