Pros

The people there when I started was a unicorn culture. Everyone was so professional and kind and you felt open to create great things.

Cons

The investment firm who purchased Boomi put in executive leadership that ruined the culture and ultimately destroyed the company and culture.

Pros

Great product for small scale projects - implementation for Netsuite, Salesforce or Workday.

Cons

-Very poor culture - Top Heavy leadership, all from Quest; none of the leadership (C-Suite) have software experience in the data integration field and it shows -No Vision or Strategy; guidance changes daily -All of the marketing focus is around Mulesoft; When Mulesoft isn't the largest competitor right now -Most of the employees hired in the last several years are friends, family or former employees from Quest - the lack of vision, understanding of the landscape and the data industry is obvious the second you start to work with any cross functional support team members -Layoffs hit in the last 2 weeks; decisions were not based on performance

Pros

The people are well-intentioned and fun for the most part. The office culture is the only thing holding this place together.

Cons

Success is largely, if not exclusively dependent upon territory assignment. Even then, we've seen inbound leads get routed to select favourites in the office, at the expense of other reps and their earning potential. The best way to make money as a sales rep here is to get pregnant and exploit the maternal leave benefits. Professional development is minimal and nobody (leadership included) seems to know what they're doing. Compensation model is terrible. The variable component is ramped in such a way that you will only make 50% of your commission rate until you reach 50% quota attainment for the year. It slowly ramps up from there, but given that 10-15% of reps will hit their annual number (out of a sales floor of 80%), your likelihood of making any real money are slim.
