Fabulous training ground. But careful not to stay too long.

Pros

Excellent training for most any follow-on career. Trains you to be efficient, sharp, clear, and effective. Biggest values are the network, exposure, and feedback.

Cons

Feedback is biased. Too much structure. Lost the creativity in the younger ranks that made it what it is today. Gets things done in a more scalable way, though at a cost.

Pros

Challenging work, and opportunities if you never want to sleep.

Cons

Like all consulting jobs, you will tire of powerpoint and the fact that you actually don't "do" anything except tell other people how they might want to manage their business differently. Also, you are unlikely to sleep much if you have a desire to advance.
