      I get paid 110k base as an Associate out of college. This salary puts me in the 90-95th percentile for my age group, so I can't complain. The other Associates at BCG are very nice and I've made a lot of friends here.

      Cons

      The "up or out" culture means that every 6 months, there's a review to determine how well you're doing. If you perform poorly in a review, they check in in 3 months to see if you've fixed the issues. If not, then you're out. This creates a lot of stress and instability. Working 65 hours per week is standard. Which usually means 9am-11pm Monday through Thursday (if you don't take any breaks for dinner), and 9am-6pm on Friday.
