The people are the single best thing about working at BCG - bright, driven, but down-to-earth and incredibly collaborative. Culture and principles, rather than rules, govern how things get done at the firm - which in the hands of good people, mean that sensible things generally happen. Lots of flexibility support to chart your own path - you just have to have conviction around your desired goals and be realistic about life's trade-offs.

Cons

The intensity of the pace can sometimes be draining, as can the travel schedule. Despite best efforts (like the PTO initiative) - this remains a premium client-service business, and the unpredictability and hours reflect that.
