      Pros

      Amazing opportunities for development -- both formal training and on-the-job learning. BCG does an amazing job pushing you to learn new things and address your areas for development. The work environment is extremely collaborative and supportive, and the compensation is good.

      Cons

      Travel can be grinding, and hours are often long. Interest level in cases varies depending on how you manage to be staffed.

      Pros

      The exit options are fantastic, given you have a network of colleagues who exit into high-level positions, but since the company is small enough, there is still a culture where if you contact someone down the road they will always take your call

      Cons

      The company knows that they have great exit options to business school and other companies, so you effectively get paid well below what you could command at another job in finance, or work harder than what you would get for equivalent pay in other corporate strategy roles
