Great place to do management consulting

Pros

The firm keeps its culture despite the large size. The projects are interesting, really top-of agenda, for top-tier clients. Has been growing faster than competitors.

Cons

The work hours are usually long. Consultants feel the pressure from bosses and clients, as stakes and expectations are always high. Tendency to "reinvent the wheel" in every project. that leads to increased hours and pressure.

- Great people (although you find the normal range of bad apples as well) - Great pay - Interesting projects

Cons

- Long working hours, no opportunity to plan your time, because you never know what will happend. - The consulting industry is not as glorious as it used to be. So be prepared for some rough times ahead.
