      Great people to work with - combination of smart brains and nice personalities Some projects can be very exciting Lots of career development opportunities (training and coaching)

      Cons

      Increasing number of "middle management" issues rather than top strategy topics Culture becoming more rigid Promotion decisions based more on loyalty to certain bosses rather than your competence Partners too much focused on selling - concerned on their own survival maybe?

      Pros

      BCG has really amazing people to work with and will expose you to much more than any typical starting job.

      Cons

      Not every project is a great one and you need to be able to adapt to lots of change. Even though you're always doing something different, as an Associate it's easy to be ready to do something else after two years.
