Pros

You can get a lot of experience here as it is a very big company and you get involved with a lot of different areas

Cons

The senior management isn't always the best, you get a lot of the wrong people in those roles. Pay is not all that great too.

Pros

Incredibly brand loyal staff, wide opportunity to move around the company into new areas. Great range of destinations available for personal travel.

Cons

Increasingly homogeneous management; white, middle class, middle age and male. In many less operational areas, this is resulting in lack of willingness to recognise the different and valuable skills women, and flexible working. Many women being marked down at annual review for having being on Maternity leave, or not being available for out of work hours social events in times and places that suit most of the males. Total lack of transparency on pay, and gender pay gap, which leaves many women suspecting that their male piers are being favoured in pay and bonus. Pretty mediocre pay, significantly below market even at management level.
