      Pros

      Excellent compensation package heavy on stock compared to other companies.

      Cons

      Very profit driven which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Just something to be aware of. Always asked to do more with less resources.

      Pros

      The health insurance is good and the Irvine campus is nice.

      Cons

      The IT department is a very low caliber one, most of the real work is done by contractors "managed" from Irvine. In reality, nobody knows nothing and just hopes that the contractors know their stuff. The funny part is that the full time employees always try to look busy and going to 7 meetings a day just filling their hours. If you really want to learn something or do actual work, maybe you should look elsewhere. I guess with Avago things will look even worse.
