Cons
No work life balance. Work is not evenly distributed among the team members. Some of us are loaded with too much work - but we get nothing in return for the contribution - like a decent hike, or a promotion or recognition. Poor Management - Manager lacks technical knowledge, so, often doesnt know the efforts required to complete a task. Also most direct managers have no voice, senior management makes most of the decisions. Career Growth is very poor. One has to wait for ages to get promoted. Promotions are given based on who has been fighting for it for a long time and not based on eligibility or contribution to the team. Also, most team members are not given the right designations. Currently, 3 years experienced and 10 years experienced are all in the same 'software engineer 3' designation. Bad in-office facilities.
