      Pros

      -The area is in the middle of Europe -Nice place to live, if you live in Switzerland -Colleagues are the best part of the job -Benefits in general. CERN takes care of you and your family -Multinational work environment -Gears are decent

      Cons

      -Management of CERN in general is so bad. Most of the supervisors have been there for years and they have diverged from normal "fire brigades" they are still living in 2010. -Permanent contracts. Once you get one, you know that you are impossible to be sacked. So that's why the management is only focusing on their own "nose". -The most of the people getting quite greedy once they realize who easy it's to make some extra at the service. -All the external trainings have been removed because of budget reasons.

      Very good pay, taking into account that you can live in France Beautiful places all around Compelling mind challenges daily

      Cons

      No long term contracts Next to impossible to even get a contract for a few years Work can be very unorganized for many days Very shady work status for CERN USERS (no insurance, benefits etc.)
