      Pros

      Lovely colleagues and people to work with. Excellent financial and social benefits. Operational excellence required but room to shape your job as well and work on side projects.

      Cons

      HR not enough considered as strategic partner. Not sure supervisors are well equipped to mentor people and help them advance on their personal career goals. CERN needs to benchmark more to industry than international organisations in order to stay attractive.

      Pros

      - Flexible working conditions - Generous relocation and installation allowance, plus annual indemnity amount. - Salary net of tax, and you will pay much less for health issuance for yourself and husband/wife/children than if you were working for another Swiss company. - Family allowance on top of your monthly salary - great plus. - Breathtaking views of Mont Blanc and Jura - Possibility for you and your family to enroll into a French class at CERN - High standards of living in Switzerland. Can also find good accomodationif chose to live in the French side. - Great in your CV! - Restaurant is huge and is an amazing way to network - Countless sport classes and clubs to join

      Cons

      - Unfortunately contracts are for limited-time only, however is a positive or negative depending on how you see and plan your life. If you love Switzerland...there will always be employers willing to recruit you. If you don't want to stay here for longer than your contract , than return home happy.
