Pros

Fast paced environment where you can learn quickly and rise the ranks. Plenty of opportunity following recent acquisitions. New technology and people keep things fresh.

Cons

The business has heavy targets to achieve to maintain current growth so this can result in high workloads and fast paced environment which doesn't suit everybody.

Thank you for the great review. It’s brilliant to hear that CTS offers you plenty of opportunity to progress your career, that’s exactly the type of environment we set out to create. As you say, it is fast-paced and we try our best to provide support for our teams and run initiatives that reward our people for their achievements. You will be pleased to hear that we are currently working on our long-term hybrid working model with the aim of retaining flexibility where possible, we hope to finalise and test this over the coming months.

Pros

CTS provided exposure to real business problems and allowed me to work across different stakeholders and systems. The role offered solid hands-on experience in requirements gathering, analysis, and translating business needs into technical solutions. Colleagues at the operational level were generally supportive and collaborative. The environment allowed room to develop independence and problem-solving skills.

Cons

There were recurring issues with communication clarity, decision-making transparency, and expectation alignment between management and project teams. Priorities shifted frequently without structured change management, which created inefficiencies and avoidable rework. Processes were often informal, making accountability and ownership unclear in more complex situations. From a contractor perspective, contractual and administrative handling could be more structured and predictable.
