1) appraisal you will get here is negligible. 2) no canteen facility even if it is mentioned in offer letter. 3) they'll take interview here as per your previous experience but job responsibilities you'll get here will be different so double confirm in which project you'll work after joining. i ended up changing my domain. 4) don't agree to join on contract position, after six months they'll make you sign 2 years of contract on same salary and will say take it or leave it. you'll end up having no option. 5) you will not get paid enough as per your experience. 6) they'll always try to hire interns and 1-2 yr of experience candidates to do the duties of 4-5 years of experienced employees do. so there is no good work environment. 7) Even if you are working in shifts you will not get any shift allowance, and obviously it is mentioned in offer letter. you'll fight for it by sending mails and discussing with higher authority but no use.

Capgemini Engineering is basically a combination of Altran and Aricent. Altran was more into body shopping and Aricent was into value creation. The merger didnt go very well and unfortunately the body shopping part got the upperhand.
