Pros

It is easy to get hired, but keep in mind that you will be exploited. This company is in the body renting business and gets passive income by placing "consultants" at their clients. These "consultants" do exactly the same job as a full-time employee for the client company, except they have no rights and can be fired at little notice or cost.

Cons

I have worked there and have to say that most of the stories i had heard about them are true. Contracts are gained by placing spies inside client corporations, making friends with decision makers and bribing influencial people into lobbying for them. They have become infamous for their underhandedness, ill-treating of employees, dodgy business practices (sometimes blatantly illegal) and hiring concubines as business managers, among other shady dealings. If you are about to sign for them, think twice.

Pros

1. I worked as Cisco TAC engineer in Aricent Technologies 2. Biggest advantage would be getting chance to work on latest Cisco Technology which can shape your career as much as you want 3. Get a chance to support big clients like US Army, NASA, Indian Air force etc. 4. Hardcore technical enviornment 5. CCIE certification is encouraged for every employee 6. But by doing that Aricent ties you for 2 lack/2 years bond

Cons

1. Aricent Cisco TAC is a small part (3 floors) of Aricent and Aricent's dominance is very less as compared to Cisco, consequently all major decisions are made by Cisco 2. Employees are neither considered Aricent's employee nor Cisco's 3. Engineer turned Managers are the only managers we have in the building and they handle business as an engineer 4. Only politics no leadership 5. Employees are chucked out if you are not willing to lick management's a** 6. No respect is shown to the engineers by the management 7. This building is full of bullies and there is no HR to oppose that and management seems to be invinsible so management does anything and everything that comes to their mind. Which includes having boose in the office

Pros

Great benefits, can work from home once a week (see cons), lots of learning opportunity, regularly update competitive rates/benefits, even after you have a set salary.

Cons

working from home can make you look bad (some managers don't like it period), Despite seeming caring they will let go of you during hard times if you are not on an active project, no matter how well you did.
