      -Work life balance -Employees are treated as equals and not as slaves. -Given flexibility of working timings -Hike is pretty good along with usual perks -Cross location working enability

      -One has to learn while on job.. there is no KT provided and one has to learn on his own.

      Good to Lear technology but not a company to stay longer

      Pros

      Aricent gives you chance to learn networking skills. As an engineer you will have alot to learn. its a good company with lots of extra activities apart from work. A very good company for fresher and 3-5 year of experience people

      Cons

      Single upper level is flat and few people are in aricent since last 10-15 years, you will not get promoted at all. Promotion to manager from technical is only if you are in aricent from last 5-6 years and not on basis of skills or capability of person. Higher management is not interested in development of engineers, they just want them to come, work and go. Few managers are not at all manager materials, they are manager just bcoz they are with aricent from last 5-10 years, no skills at all. aricent has 3 month of notice period, so you are kind of stuck here after sometime and it is very difficult to get new jobs. your notice period will NEVER be reduced, not even for single day even if you are close to manager. everything changes once you resign.

      I've been working with Aricent as a full timer for long time (nearly 8 years), so far its good. * Really depends on the team you work for and the managers, I'm a technical guy and team i worked are so co-operative * Talented people around

      Cons

      * The recruitment of new people are not so good these days the interviews should be improved to select right talents to the organization * Some managers really don't care about their employees * Some teams have lots of working hours
