      Altran - a once great company

      Pros

      Not a whole lot to say that is positive. Altran (formerly Foliage, Inc) was a great systems development company doing exciting next generation technology. Now it is essentially just a staffing company doing maintenance and grunt level work.

      See Pros . Shrinking Company (down to one building from two) Little more than a body shop now Low company moral Foreign ownership (French) who have no understanding of the US market Employees viewed as costs rather than assets.

      1. No mapping with the recruitment and project. 2. Employees are hired for spring hibernate and then employer expects them to change their skill sets. 3. Conditions are even more pathetic in local onsite 4. Don't choose these company if you don't know for which client you will be working with.

      Job security Average national income for the task (after Flex being added to the Basic income)

      Cons

      60 day notice after 6 months; Does not treat people with employee-studant status fairly; Everybody missed day discounts as 2 ; Very bad management and employee evaluation process
