No sense of direction or guidance

Pros

*Employer name looks good on resume. *Friendly people, most of who are hardworking.

Cons

*A real lack of leadership and visibility. *No appropriate mentor or opportunity to come together as a whole with the team to learn and share. Despite having people managers, everyone is out to better their situation and will often forget to support the team. *There is no sense of direction or guidance on what is success or drives it. *Limited opportunities for growth and engagement, very much one-dimensional and morale is low for many. *Low salaries and a real disparity among existing and new employees: poor employee-to-role matching. *Minimal communication and explanation, an overwhelming sense of alienation and secrecy due to who management deems are the ‘haves’ and ‘have-nots.’ They tout that while they may not have fair wages, you will learn and grow. This is not true, only a select few get attention. Nepotism is rampant. *Face time is oddly important, for some. *Many are disadvantaged early in career.

Pros

- Lots of time for personal activities. - You can prepare for exams for higher studies.

Cons

- No matter how much you work hard throughout the year, Your appraisal will be single digit hike ONLY. It is like you are beggar and begging for bhik. - Management is not good. Lots of politics here. Everyone sweet talks to you and at the end of the day they will show their true faces. Beware of your managers and Lead. - No flexibility. Leave policies, HR policies sucks here. I don't know how Capgemini is surviving. - REAL Incident - I have good relations with Security guards. They were earning 14k per month. Now their salary is deduced to 10k per month. And the reason was the company is in LOSS. Which is very pathetic and shameful. - NGO/CSR activities- They take money from Employees and contribute to poor/underprivileged children. If Capgemini has initiated this activity then why they hell they are taking money from employees? - Capgemini has NO ONSITE until and unless you are director or at higher management position. I have been fooled from last 2 years by my manager. I did not get promotion and also no ONSITE. - I am damn sure, Capgemini is going to Shut down in few years. Also remember one thing - ATTRITION RATE IS VERY MUCH HIGH HERE. Ask any Capgemini employee, You will come to know real face of it. - CEO of this company is just seeing their own benefit. I just want to tell him, If you want to grow, Take care of your employees first then think about Growth. Otherwise you will not going to survive in the current market. One word of advice : Join Start up or Product based MNCs, Your future will be bright and salary will be boosted like anything.
