Pros

The buildings in Tysons look beautiful on the inside. Definitely does not have a corporate vibe. Feels like an IT company in silicon valley. There's all sorts of unique and creative decorations, layouts, etc. They provide some free snacks and drinks.

Cons

It all depends on your group since it's such a large company. From my experience, they have way too many software engineers, way too many cogs in a giant machine, and everything is too decentralized. Amazed that anything actually works, quite frankly. There was no vision, just myopic two week sprints, that were incredibly fast-paced. Hated the open layout concept. There are also too many H1B people working there, and they sometimes tended to group together and speak their own language. There was no strong sense of camaraderie among the team. Young people have some pros, but they also have some cons.

Pros

Progressive company for the financial services industry. Encourages a diverse workforce, and pays competitively. Great overall environment

Cons

Advancement within the company is difficult and not always a product of performance or results, but can depend on your direct manager and his/her reputation within the department. Performance management in general is a huge pain point at this company, and is not likely to change.

Pros

Medical, 401K Benefits. Career Advancements. Tuition Reimbursement.

Cons

Company has gone down hill. All about cutting corners to benefit the company's pockets, even it includes employee benefits and/or false promises. No place to move up unless it regards favoritism, not even for internship opportunities or if your numbers exceed expectations. False promises for employee support and culture. A false sense of values and culture that are promoted but not considered in-house, even with employee violating ethical and company moral along with multiple complaints to HR. Bonuses removed. No equal pay. Gender-biased. Tech outdated and do not implement innovated ideas or talent for solutions. Great place if you absolutely need somewhere to work but promotions revolve around company necessity, favoritism and not your performance, even if you are a high performer, and work above and beyond what is requested. Schedules are not by seniority or metrics as promised, never makes sense and new excuses on switching your schedule.
