Work-life balance is a joke in some of the Biz lines, specifically Enterprise. They have a systematic process for silent layoffs twice a year, through Performance Review Process. The % of the layoff varies based on many factors and they cover it under performance convo. That is, you many not be a low performer, but if you are in that below percentage, they'd fire you in the name of low performer. Diversity in hiring is a bit more than other Financial companies, but there is a lot of discrimination along the way. For instance, they hire White people and Indians 1-2 levels above their competency level and the rest are hired 1-2 levels below their competency levels. People hired from Startups or Amazon failures are usually not capable of performing in their levels, and put the pressure on their directs. It's a bank, expect leadership to be conservative and regulation can be a real pain. While they'll call themselves a tech company to their employees, they won't pay you like one.
