Pros

Some of the best reasons a person should work at Capital One includes the culture, drive for excellence and the sense of entrepreneurship that resides in all areas of the company.

Cons

There are some cons to working for Capital One. As the company continues to evolve, some ideas and projects are not given enough time to begin to work prior to strategy or direction changing.

Pros

Good work life balance. The people are generally nice and there's a culture of getting to know one another. It's a large company with opportunities to move around and go to other locations

Cons

They don't have your professional and personal interests in mind. It can be political, where favorites get ahead easily. College recruiting may also be a bit discriminatory. I had a friend who was a math major be rerouted from interviewing for the tech and analyst development program to the project management program. The project management program (now the mrp) was almost all female. I love working with other women but it made me question how the company viewed women.
